Help Can't Wait: Become a Red Cross Volunteer
Current Volunteer Openings:
- Basic Aid Training (BAT) - Train basic first aid to Lincoln 4th graders.
Variable availability. October - December.
- First Aid Team - Provide medical care at community events.
Variable availability.
- Disaster Volunteer - Respond to volunteers locally and nationally as a Disaster Volunteer. Flexible availability. Day & Night Shifts.
- CPR/First Aid Instructor - Teach lifesaving classes.
- Clerical/General Volunteer - Clerical assistance, volunteer recognition, speaking/education opportunities. Variable availability. Day only.
- Communications
Volunteer - Web/print production and design, social media, event
volunteers. Variable availability, work from home.

Fill out the form, save and then email the completed form to Sharon Kelly at kellysha@usa.redcross.org.

Background Checks
The American Red Cross has a policy requiring that all employees and volunteers with the American Red Cross pass a background check. As a Chapter of the national organization we are required to implement this policy. Instructions for completing the background check are located in the application file.

Volunteers age 55+ are encouraged to join RSVP
RSVP is a volunteer program of the Lincoln Area Agency on Aging. RSVP
volunteers are 55 or older who volunteer in
Lincoln and Lancaster County. RSVP volunteers are eligible for special benefits and recognition. To join RSVP, contact Laurie at
