 The American Red Cross is the leader in aquatics and water safety training. We offer lessons for ages 6 months to adult.

Classes in Lincoln
The Red Cross offers lessons at pools across Lincoln in four sessions: Session 1 - June 14-25, 2010; Session 2 - June 28-July 9, 2010; Session 3 - July 12-23, 2010; and Session 4 - July 26-August 6, 2010. Each session at all pools (except Ballard) is held Monday-Friday everyday for 2 weeks for 30 minutes long (10 total lessons). At Ballard, sessions run Monday-Thursday with 45 minute lessons (8 total lessons). All classes cost $55 per student, per session. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scholarships
The American Red Cross recognizes that not all families may have the means to provide swimming lessons. A limited number of reduced-priced classes are available for low-income families. You must provide written proof of income eligibility; 2009 IRS Federal Tax Statement or proof of loss of employment. Please call Val at (402) 441-6383 for more information.

 

Classes in Beatrice and Wymore
Swimming classes in Beatrice and Wymore are offered through the Southeast Nebraska Chapter of the Red Cross. For more information, call Rosemary at (402) 223-4211. Classes are $35 per person, per lesson.
