American Red Cross Professional Rescuer course is designed for people with a job-related duty to respond to an emergency, including nurses, law enforcement, EMS personnel, fire fighters, business, and industry response teams, flight attendants, and others who must take action in emergency situations. Professional Rescuer CPR/AED covers breathing and cardiac emergencies, using an AED on an adult and child victim of cardiac arrest and, using personal protective equipment to stop bloodborne pathogens and other diseases from spreading. Successful completion of American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR/AED Course will certify the student for two years in CPR/AED.
